Mixed Bunch Cards

For my Stamps in the Mail we have been using Mixed Bunch, a stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Here are a few cards from what they made last month.

 

 I love the versatility of this set of stamps.  It is much more than flowers.  This month we are turning the flower into a butterfly!

Valentine Gift for Michael

I saw this idea on Pinterest, and thought it would make a great Valentine gift for Michael.

I used My Digital Studio to make an individual 8 1/2 X 11 page and saved it as a jpeg.  I then uploaded it to Walgreens and printed it as a 5X7.  This took only a few minutes to make, but will be a gift we keep on using.  I made it with the intention of it being in our bathroom so we can write notes back and forth on it.  You use a dry erase marker on the glass, and then simply wipe it off when you want to write the next reason why you love each other.

 

This is the card I made for the people I have recruited as demonstrators.

I used the Designer Cuts cards from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  They come with Blusing Bride Envelopes and the adorable cut outs so all you need to do is add a couple embellishments.  You can also leave them as is.

Valentine Boxes

It is 10 pm and Abigail and I just finished her Valentine Box.  With all the hockey this past weekend plus a game tonight, we were not able to do it sooner.  Michael got the card board all cut and hot glued, and then Abigail and I went to town on it. 

 

Isaac had made a hockey skate like this the past 2 years so he made a basketball one on his own this afternoon.

This is a simple card using the heart punch. 

This last card uses Blushing Bride 3/8" pleated ribbon and P.S. I love you stamp set.

Bordering On Romance Card

We made this card at my stamp-a-stack this week using the Bordering on Romance stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog.  I received the Bordering on Romance set free from Stampin Up along with several other items because of my title, and the Loving Thoughts I received at Leadership.  I love getting free stamps! 

On the left I used markers on the card, and on the right I used the pastels. 

I used Loving Thoughts stamp set for the greeting.  I learned this cool way to make a pennant at leadership.

Use a square punch to snip off the edge of each side.  Pretty easy!
