How to Use Scraps to Make a Card

If you are like me, you have a huge scrap pile of Designer Series Paper pieces.  This quick card design uses 3" x 1" strips to make a cute card. 

Looking at the Designer Series Paper, I chose to use Lost Lagoon and Pool Party for the card stock.  I added texture embossing the pool party piece with Timeworn Type embossing folder.  I use this one A LOT!   It creates such a nice subtle background. 

 

So Sincere is a new greeting set that has been out on my table since I got it.  It has some great greeting choices.

Tips for Patchwork Pieces Dies

I ordered the Patchwork Pieces died, but didn't use them right away thinking it would be hard to line up.  That is not the case at all!  This is the first card I made using them and it came together so easily! 

Which color do you like the greeting on better?  Basic White or Lemon Lolly?

I decided to turn them into cards, which is so so easy to do!  I used Garden Green, Lost Lagoon, and Pool Party Card Stock to make the cards.  That along with liquid glue is all you need.

8 Cards from one sheet of Fresh As A Daisy

We have many Designer Series Paper packs that are 15% off this month.  Today I am featuring one sheet from Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. All of the cards use Something Fancy Stamp Set and Something Fancy Dies.  They are excellent dies for greetings. 

This sheet has so many great designs on it that makes card designing easy!

Moody Mauve and Peppled Path were used for this first card. They are both new In Colors.

Peppled Path

4 1/4 x 3 1/4 and 3 1/4 x 2 1/4

 

The next card uses Crushed Curry for the card base.

 

I cut the Curry Striped piece of designer series paper at 1 1/2"  The othe 1 1/4 strip you will use on another card.

White embossed piece is 5" x 3 3/4

 

The third card uses Wild Wheat and Pretty Peacock.

The next card uses Early Espresso and Wild Wheat. Isn't this a great simple card?

Boho Blue is used on this card.  It is another new In Color.

White strip is 1/2"

Boho Blue Piece is 1" x 1 1/2

 

This piece of designer series paper could be used for many things.  I used Wild Wheat with it. 

This is one of my favorite cards.  Garden Green is the card base.

This is the card you use the other part of the Curry striped piece,  This on is 1 1/4" wide.

Score Garden Green piece at 5 1/2" and 6 7/8"

This final card uses Boho Blue.

White piece is 4" x 3"

Misty Moonlight is 5 1/2" x 3 3/4"

Circle Sayings

Circle Sayings is a great new Stamp Set designed by Jessica Taylor! We were so excited when she reached the $1,000,000 in sales milestone. One of the perks is you get to design a stamp set. Jessica was one of the first team members I signed up years ago, and it has been so fun to watch her business soar!

For this card I piared it with Bright and Beautiful Stamp Deisgner Series Paper.  I love all the bright designs in it.

TImeless Arrangements Bundle

One of the first bundles I ordered from our new catalog was Timeless Arrangements.  It is a great versatile set. I love the different dies that come in it.  There are 3 stitched rectangle dies to fit greetings. 

 

I love the texture that Painted Posies embossing folder gives. 

The detail in the die cut pieces really stand out with the colored card stock.
