Stampin Up On Stage Demonstrator Event

We had our On Stage event this past weekend.  It was so much fun!  I love getting together with other demonstrators!  It started Friday night with a special night for leaders. At every stamping event we get a bag. Isn't this cute!

They had beautiful flowers on the tables.

 

A great meal and many desserts to pick from!  Of course we had several!

  The best part besides connecting with friends from all over, is we get the catalog early!

We had several from our group and extended downline qualify to attend. (for the event on Friday you need to be a Silver Elite - you need a mixture of recruits and sales to achieve this) 

I signed up to be a demonstrator 22 years ago under Sue Nurnberger.  It is always fun to see her at these events.

On our way out we each received this cute bag and a new punch which will be in our next catalog!

On Saturday is the main even for all demonstrators.  The event in the midwest is always  has the largest attendance.  Look how big our group is!

Saturday is filled with learning about products in the new catalog, card exchanges, business tips, recognition, and of course stamping!  

We get to see display boards like this with new products.

They decorated the tables like this: (the mini Stampin Up box is available in the next catalog.  Aren't they cute?

We got to use several new products to make the cards.  

 

Below is going to be in the May Paper Pumpkin kit.  Shelli designed it.  Sign up now so you can make them!

 

At the end of our time making the project, they let our table of 6 keep all the items used!  This is what I ended up with.

After On Stage, I invited our group over for dinner.  35 people came!  My mom was there to get it all started.

I covered water bottles with our designer series paper.

 

Covered Chocolates are always a hit!

 

I passed out these tiny treat boxes to demonstrators at On Stage.

 

I bought some empty stamp cases and cut designer series paper to fit inside. These were gifts for my personal recruits who attended.   This is  great way to store your shammy.  

 

This is what was on the inside. Shammy, Share What You Love Pearls, pen,  and of course chocolates!

Hello from Houston!

I am in Houston for Stampin Up's Leadership conference.  I love to be with all the go getter demonstrators.  Here is a picture of the women from our group, Lynn Dunn, Lori Brausen, Lyssa Zwolanek, Jessica Taylor and me!  We got the fun bags when we checked in.

Final day in San Antonio

Look at all of this I received at Leadership!  They always amaze me with all the give aways.  2 of the stamp sets are not shown because they have not been released yet.  I  love getting some stamps early FREE!

Melony and I went to the Alamo on Saturday.  It was just a couple blocks from our hotel.

We went to FOGO DE CHAO for supper.  It was amazing both the food and service.  I was excited to find out they have a location in MN!

We met up with our friend Kandi and went on a boat tour of the River Walk.  It was a great way to end our trip!

Now I am back to reality and trying to organize all of my good ideas!

Leadership Day 2

Yesterday was the last day of Leadership.  Here are some pictures from the day.

I had to take a picture of someone's waffle at our hotel.  My kids would love them!

We all received the Sale-A-Bration pack of Designer Series Paper and Fresh Vintage Stamp Set.  We LOVE free stamps and accessories!

At lunch Melony and I took a walk on the River Walk.  It was great to move around after so much sitting, and the River Walk is the perfect place to escape for a little bit.

Shelli showed these two Valentine cards.

 Isn't this  a cute Valentine idea?  It uses the Heart Collection Framelits Dies.

 

We ended the day at this fantastic Mexican restraunt, Mi Tierra.  Here is Jessica with the mariochi band.

We had a wonderful day!

Leadership Day One

Last night I was so excied about being a part of The Extreme Home Makeover that I did not blog on yesterday!  It was a great day with many new ideas, and more freebies! 

We got a new stamp set that I can not show you under the large pearl basic jewels, a Sale-A-Bration My Digital Studio CD, rhinestones and pearls, Pool Party ribbon, and extra Occasion Mini Catalogs and Sale-A-Bration brochures.  We also received a free set last night at Manager's reception that I can not sho yet either because it has not been released.

Extreme Home Make Over

Oh My Goodness!  Melony and I just had the most amazing night!  We went out for a power walk, and ran into a Christmas parade along the River Walk.  Extreme Home Makeover is here taping their final show that will air in December. 

We followed the parade to where Ty was.

We finished watching the parade there, and were a part of the show. It was absolutely amazing!  Ty is hilarous and is cracking jokes right and left.

The T-Shirts the workers wear.

If you look in front of Ty are a few rows of wounded military.  They surprised 10 families with new homes.  It was amazing as they called up each one and told a little bit about themselves and how the house would help them.

At the end of the show Lee Greenwood sang I am Proud to Be an American which gave us chills as we all sang along.

Roger the Rocket Clemens was there to hand keys to the families to their new homes

What a fun unexpected night!

Leadership Manager's Reception

Remember the cute fan invitation I received for Manager's reception?  Last night we had the event where we got to see the the world-renowned Chinese Acrobats of Hebei.

They always do a great job decorating!

They did a fantastic job!

Leadership Make and Takes

Hello from San Antonio!  I had smooth travel today and hopped right into make and takes!  Here are some pictures from today:

Leadership in 2 weeks

In 2 weeks I will be in San Antonio for Stampin Up's Leadership Conference. I am busy designing cards to swap with other demonstrators for ideas. 

Stampin Up sent this fun invitation for Managers and above to attend a manager's reception and see the world-renowned Chinese Acrobats of Hebei.

I can't wait!  I will be posting many pictures!

More Make and Takes

The Minneapolis Regional Seminar had so many great make and takes.  Here are 3 cards that we made using the stamp set Nature Walk from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

This first one is my favorite.  I will be using it at an event soon!  We stamped the image and then cut it after.  The Seam Binding Ribbon gathers so nicely!  We put a strip of Sticky Strip down and then gathered the ribbon on it.

For this next card we stamped the bird cage, and then ran 1/2 the card through the crimper and then took Early Expresso ink directly on the paper to give it the distressed look.  To get the different colors on the eggs, I used the blue marker on the whole image and then added Early Expresso and Old Olive with markers.

For this 3X3 card we colored the Rosette with a marker and then added water using an aqua painter to blend it in.  The Rosettes are found in the mini catalog.  They are $5.95 for 18.  They come in 3 sizes.  I love that you can make them whatever color you want!

It is so much fun attending an event where I get to make things I did not have to prepare!  If you would like to learn how to make these projects, let me know!
